God Eats Red Meat is dedicated to providing instruction and insight to Christians in their day-to-day dealings with animal rights extremism. I hope this helps with your understanding and enables you to reflect within a Christian context.
WELCOME To God Eats RED Meat!
Jesus a vegetarian?
If one takes the time to study the philosophy of animal rights [which is diametrically opposed to the Judeo-Christian philosophy of animal welfare], one will find it would ultimately separate and elevate God's creation from any and all interaction with mankind which, in effect, causes creation to be worshiped rather than the Creator. This radical philosophy would, by its very nature, oppose God and His plan for our use of His Creation. By studying the various sections in this webpage, one will become to understand the roots of this philosophy.
In a nutshell, animal welfare is the traditional Judeo-Christian right of mankind to use animals for work, play, food, health and clothing providing that animals are humanely treated. Animal rights, on the other hand, eventually philosophically requires vegetarianism as an expression of "compassion" [ultimately culminating in the more extreme veganism] and would ultimately not allow any interaction between animals and mankind. The best comprehensive summation of the entire concept of animal rights is: no pets, no meat, no work, no pony rides, no fish tanks, no circus, no . . , no . . , etc.
God created this world and has given us the means to understand how He wants us to interact and use His creation through His written word, the Bible. The Bible is quite implicit and explicit when it comes to our behavior in, use of, and interaction with God's creation. I have compiled information from the extremists and applied the appropriate Bible passage(s) so you, as a Christian, can readily understand how to view and respond to extremist ideas or demands. Additionally, lists of organizations from various animal welfare industries are available to help you with the questions to ascertain the truth of animal use and care.
You say, why believe the Bible? Do you read a horoscope or listen to psychics [who consistently err in their prophesies]? Well, one of the unique and fascinating aspects of the Bible is that in no other religious literature do we find the accuracy of fulfilled prophecy. Biblical predictions recorded sometimes hundreds of years in advance of their happening are fulfilled in minute detail. Following are a few of those predictions and fulfillments. For more on this subject, please see:
Too long questions have gone unanswered concerning the Christian position of animal welfare without a resource to help the uninitiated. God did not intend us to keep our mouths shut.
When dealing with extremists, please keep the Gospel of Timothy in mind. I really did not understand how animal rights extremists could be saying or participating in the appalling, repulsive, untruthful and [often] illegal actions one often reads about in their local newspaper until I read this passage. I hate to use such a theatrical comment, but "the veil was lifted from my eyes" - it finally made sense. I finally understood. Every time you hear it is immoral to experiment on animal to save humans, or that "meat is murder," remember this passage:
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
Additionally,
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 4:3 Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4:4 For every creature of God [is] good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. KJV
"Now I cannot speak as to whether these are the "latter times," but I can tell you that Eve did not sin and get thrown out of the Garden of Eden by eating a hot dog!" [My thanks to Barbara Whiten for that quote.]
For the Christian, there is not much to argue about here. God has commanded that we put on our armor when dealing with evil. This web page is dedicated to your armor and is only the beginning. Remember always that scripture holds:
II Timothy 3:15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
If any Christian still questions the use of the word evil in reference to those proponents of animal rights, the following quote should shake you up. This quote is for those of you who still doubt that animal rights extremists mean only to HELP animals - feast on this for a while [and remember they really don't love animals, it is a POWER and MONEY thing - which you will come to understand by reading the following topics as noted on the left of this page - especially the articles on the Animal Rights page!:
"Christianity is our foe. If animal rights is to succeed, we must destroy the Judeo-Christian religious tradition." Peter Singer (father of the animal rights movement) [The Deweese Report, November 1998]
Christians believe in a God who was, is and will ever more be. By the same token, we believe that the inspired Word of God, the Bible, is the basis for reason and stands in the face of extremism, and is just as good today as when it was written. Since God is eternal, it doesn't make any sense that He would write a book which would become outdated.

Bottom line, there is absolute provable truth in the Bible and if it is undeniable for prophesy and an accurate refection of history, then it stands to reason the other things it says are truthful and we should be paying attention.Also, please feel free to email with any questions as I shall endeavor to keep up with your inquiries [sooner or later] rvf720@gate.net .
